Primary goals for the group includes improving communication, increasing intimacy, managing conflict, developing trust, exploring commitment, and introducing erotic action and passion to the relationship.

DBT Skills Group

The DBT skills group is designed for people who struggle with managing life’s challenges and want to take control of the emotions, thoughts, and behaviors that make their lives or relationships more difficult or intolerable. This group offers individuals tools to decrease the reactivity or intensity of their emotions. By learning new skills to use in the moment, clients learn how to get through a bad situation without making it worse, improve problem-solving, ask for what they want and say “No” effectively, in order to reduce their suffering and increase their happiness.
